A Three Hour Saturday Workshop with Johanna Burke

Looking to eliminate toxins from your home and how to fill your medicine cabinet with safe and effective home remedies?
Join Johanna Burke as she teaches and demonstrates how to make ten different natural products for home and health:
Elderberry Syrup, Fire Cider, natural cough syrup, Tallow Balm, face serum, Chap Stick, Laundry Detergent, Dishwasher Detergent, All Purpose Cleaning Spray, and Bug Repellent Spray
This will be a hands-on workshop, limited to ten participants, and all will go home with samples of tallow balm and chapstick as well as printed copies of all recipes.
Instructor and Host: Johanna Burke has been married to Brian for 15 years and they are the parents to six children. After living a transient lifestyle with the military while Brian served in the Navy as a family physician, they eagerly began to put down roots on their five acre homestead (Holy Family Farm) in eastern Ohio in 2019. Their small holding consists of a large garden, a dairy cow, meat chickens, laying hens and intermittent pigs. Brian works locally as a family physician, specializing in restorative reproductive medicine and Johanna homeschools their children. Together they have been teaching and speaking about fertility awareness and the role of nutrition for almost twelve years.
Johanna has been making her own home and health products for years and taught a similar workshop at last year’s Healing Land festival.

Cost: $35 per person (Age 12 and over)
